These fare tables illustrate the cost of a single fare according to the number of zones a passenger uses in a journey.

Fares - effective 4 August 2008

To calculate your fare, look at the zones you travel in on your journey. Subtract the lowest zone you will be travelling in from the highest zone, then add one – this formula calculates the correct number of zones you will be using.

For example, if you are travelling from Morayfield (zone 8) to Strathpine (zone 5), you are travelling through four zones (8-5+1 = 4). Using the fare table, a single adult fare will cost $3.40 (adult) or $1.90 (concession).

Read more about concession fares, including what you need to claim them.

You can also use the journey planner to calculate the fare for a specific journey.
