The TransLink Transit Authority brings together state and local governments, industry and community groups in a joint effort to improve public transport services in South East Queensland. An integrated network requires information, expertise and resources from many contributors. The major partners are: Queensland Bus Industry Council (QBIC) The Queensland Bus Industry Council (QBIC) aims to develop and maintain a safe, reliable and viable public passenger transport system in Queensland, which is consistent with expectations of the travelling public and regulatory authorities. Activities and services include lobbying, liaising with government departments, industrial relations advice, information gathering and dissemination.
