From Monday 30 June 2008, go cards will be available for use on Surfside buses. Customers with go cards are able to travel on all TransLink services operated by Surfside Bus Lines. The NSW services (routes 600 to 609) are not available for go card use and negotiations with the NSW Government are continuing. With this final region rolled out, go card customers are now able to travel seamlessly on all TransLink services by bus, train and ferry across the network from Gympie North in the Sunshine Coast to Coolangatta in the Gold Coast and west to Helidon. Simply touch on and touch off and let the go card calculate the fare automatically. Customers can buy a go card online or at any one of the go card retailers and selected QR stations. TransLink representatives will also be available at key interchanges promoting the go card over the next few weeks. From Friday 13 June 2008, you will be able to use your go card on Laidley buses. Local residents can avoid the hassle of purchasing a paper ticket when travelling on the town's bus services. Now go card holders will be able to travel seamlessly on TransLink services on buses, trains and ferries across the TransLink network with the exception of Surfside buses – coming soon! From Sunday 1 June 2008, you will be able to use your go card on Airtrain services to domestic and international airport stations. TransLink will advise when these services become available. From Monday 25 February 2008, go cards can be used on all TransLink bus, train and ferry services across South East Queensland with the exception of Airtrain, Surfside Buslines and Laidley Bus Company services. It is anticipated that go card will be available for use on these services in the near future. The go card was available to all Sunshine Coast, Caboolture, Pine Rivers and Redcliffe residents from Tuesday, 29 January 2008. |
